Quintin Terreblanche
CEO – BT Industries
Boasting 25 years in various business leadership roles, including numerous board seats as executive and non-executive director, and holding shares and investment in multiple companies. Quintin’s leadership roles have instilled strong understandings of strategy, mergers and acquisitions, disposals, first world operational management and sound financial acumen, across a wide range of industries. His contributions to BTI are backed by his qualifications as an electrical engineer and millwright, his studies of metallurgy specific to cold forging of fasteners, and his role as a senior executive at a cold forging plant that included wire drawing and metal finishing.

Brian Chelin
Non-Executive Director – BT Industries
Brian carries the kind of experience that only years of solutioneering in the field can give you. Boasting 40 years of experience in the design, sourcing and supply of automotive and industrial components, Brian’s knowledge makes him one of the key members of our team, and we draw on his extensive insight whenever possible.

Warren Smith
Non-Executive Director & Shareholder
As Director and shareholder of BT Industries since 2003, Warren has been involved in the company for almost 20 years. Over the course of his career, he has served as the Director and shareholder of a number of companies across South Africa and Australia, with investments in everything from property to recycled rubber. He is currently based in Queensland, Australia, where he is constantly on the lookout for strategic investment.

Jeanne Terreblanche
Logistics and Operational Director
Master’s Degree in Economics, and 23 years’ experience in market and business analytics, business advisory, investment management, process and performance enhancement. Jeanne has over a decade of experience in Executive and Director roles.

Jann Stovold
New Business
With 4 decades of experience in the manufacture, sourcing and supply of small engineered components, Jann has unmatched knowledge in the fields of fasteners, quality standards, sourcing, audits, corrosion protection, metal finishes and OEM process standards. Over the past 40 years, he has honed his skills and grown his expertise to understand the entire and vast range of different fasteners and components that BT Industries supplies to its customers. As such, he is the tip of the technical spear in the BTI team, and is responsible for sourcing and securing new business opportunities for our company.

Jean Roux
Purchasing Executive
Jean Roux is a professional manager with over 26 years of experience in supply chain management, having served at a global automotive OEM and a privately-owned specialist component supplier to the OEM industry. He has built a successful career in developing and executing operational strategies, and implementing the Lean principles of business management. As BT Industries’ Purchasing Executive, Jean prides himself on ensuring that every customer is provided with the ideal product that suits their precise requirements, while building relationships and adding value that is relevant to their needs.

Andrew Ward
Manager – BT Industries, Port Elizabeth
Boasting 28 years of experience working in the automotive and engineering sectors, Andrew Ward excels in project management and planning in the automotive industry specifically. As a qualified mechanical engineer, Andrew developed his skills as a project manager in various automotive and engineering positions in South Africa and Europe. Today, he is a crucial part of BT Industries, applying his wealth of experience in project management in the automotive industry to serve as General Manager of BT Industries in Port Elizabeth.

Colleen Phillips
General Manager, KZN
With over 30 years of experience in management and leadership in the freight and logistics sector, Colleen is a goal-orientated and highly-motivated individual, and excels at driving sales and building solid long-term relationships with customers. As the General Manager for BT Industries’ KZN region, Colleen utilises a people-service-profit management style that motivates her team to work together to pursue the company’s goals.
